Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church in Lagos, has released the 32nd edition of his annual prophecy publication, Warnings to the Nations, at a world press conference held on Saturday, 4 July 2026 at his church headquarters in Oke Afa, Lagos. The 405-page compendium contains prophetic messages directed at heads of state, private individuals and institutions across multiple countries and sectors. As the third quarter of 2026 gets under way, Ayodele called on people worldwide to pray for their leaders and for global stability.
The 2026/2027 edition covers a wide sweep of concerns, from geopolitical confrontation to natural disasters and public health threats. Ayodele forecasts that the United States will become embroiled in a new military confrontation and that tensions between Russia and NATO will escalate into open conflict. He also warns that political conditions inside the United States will turn volatile and violent, with partisan dynamics shifting in ways that could destabilise the country and influence other nations. Several European countries, he adds, will face threats requiring precautionary security measures.
Beyond geopolitics, the cleric foresees a range of disasters he urges the public to pray against. These include plane crashes involving government officials or footballers, fire outbreaks and shootings in schools globally, the collapse of mines, and the assassination or shooting of a sitting president — specifically flagging the risk to an African head of state. He also warns of a new virus capable of shaking the global health sector, though he stops short of predicting a full-scale pandemic.
Climate change features prominently in Ayodele’s warnings. He predicts severe flooding, hurricanes and mining accidents becoming increasingly common, contributing to a broader global instability. He also foresees a new country agitating seriously for independence, though he does not name it. On a more personal note, he calls for prayers to prevent the deaths of young entertainers — specifically a comedian, an actor, a producer and a newscaster — as well as a Nobel laureate.
Ayodele also addressed Nigerian domestic politics directly. He has previously stated that the northern part of Nigeria will grow angry with President Bola Tinubu, and that the president’s re-election in 2027 is far from guaranteed.
