The University of Lagos has published its UTME merit admission cut-off marks for the 2026/2027 academic session, covering programmes in the Faculty of Computing and Informatics and the Faculty of Engineering. The figures, released on 16 September 2026, include both merit scores and catchment scores for candidates from six states: Ekiti, Lagos, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, and Oyo.
In the Faculty of Computing and Informatics, Computer Science carries a merit cut-off of 82.05, placing it among the most competitive programmes at the institution.
The catchment system matters. Candidates from designated states qualify under lower thresholds than the national merit score, giving a meaningful advantage to applicants from those regions.
Across the Faculty of Engineering, ten programmes have confirmed cut-off figures for the coming session. Computer Engineering tops the list with the highest merit score at 82.175, followed closely by Mechanical Engineering at 79.275 and Electrical Engineering at 79.025. At the other end, Surveying and Geomatics Engineering recorded the lowest merit score at 66.075, with Metallurgical and Material Engineering just above it at 67.025.
One figure stands out: Biomedical Engineering returns no catchment score for Oyo State candidates, listed simply as NIL. Prospective applicants from that state should verify their eligibility directly with the university before proceeding.
UNILAG has separately published cut-off marks for other faculties, including programmes in Mass Communication, Medical Laboratory Science, and Physiotherapy. The complete list for all faculties and courses is available on the university’s official website.
